Custom, Hand Made, Baseball Bats by “Bad Ash Batz”

 Bad Ash Batz can make you a Custom Wood Baseball Bat that is completely Hand Made.  Our Custom Bats are made to our client’s exact specifications and not selected from any pre-made inventory.  Our entire process is completed by hand from the turning of the wood bat, to the hand sanding and staining processes.

The process for ordering your Custom Wood Bat is easy.  We work with every client to determine the exact dimensions, weight and color that is desired.  We hand turn the bat on the lathe, sand, stain and ship.  The entire process typically takes about a week depending on the staining that is needed as this step will add additional drying time.  Any additional time needed is discussed ahead of time so the client is aware of any potential delays.

At Bad Ash Batz, all of our bats are "bone rubbed".  This was a process used in the 20's and 30's by players like Babe Ruth and Ted Williams.  It is used to smooth, shine and harden the bat.  It seals the pores in the wood and helps prevent your new Custom Bat from flaking.  It’s a simple, old fashion tradition that we include in all Custom Bat orders.

Bad Ash Batz can turn your Custom Baseball Bat to any length, weight or style required.  Our wood of choice is Ash, but we can special order any wood suitable for making your Custom Wood Bat.  We order only Pro Grade Ash billets for every order that is placed.
